Megan is an Assistant Risk Assessment Scientist with a Master of Public Health in Epidemiology from Rollins School of Public Health at Emory University and a B.S. in Business Administration from the Crowell School of Business at Biola University. Her research interests include epidemiology, biostatistics, spatial analysis, infectious disease, and pharmacoepidemiology.
Megan most recently worked with the Rabies Department at the CDC. She helped develop an automated decision-making system that determined the most suitable regression model for five existing indicators used to predict rabies burden in 153 countries. She previously interned with One Health within the CDC to develop a zoonotic disease database for threat assessment. While at Emory, she developed a program to communicate academic research to people outside the research field. Megan is also a certified pharmacy technician (CPhT) with the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) and the Colorado State Board of Pharmacy (CDORA).
