Therese Kondash is an Assistant Risk Assessment Scientist with over three years of experience in environmental and radiological health sciences. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Health from Colorado State University. Her training and areas of expertise include environmental health, environmental contamination, radiological protection, occupational and environmental sampling, geospatial modeling and analysis, and statistics.

Therese has experience characterizing radiological and heavy metal contamination at large-scale environmental sites throughout the southwestern United States. She has managed spatial and non-spatial datasets using statistical and geospatial programs to interpret and model contaminant transport and life cycle. Therese has developed and implemented radiation protection and environmental programs to reduce occupational exposures to hazardous materials and ensure site compliance with federal and state regulations. In her previous experience as a research assistant, Therese worked alongside academic professionals to visualize and interpret meteorological data and characterize vector-borne disease transmissions of Rift Valley Fever virus.
